The Saskatchewan Online Creators Association (SaskOCA), is a not-for-profit group which aims to uplift and unify broadcasters and creators, gamers, creatives, fans, and community across Saskatchewan through engaging activities and social events.
To date, we have successfully hosted ten MeetUp experiences, with two of these being digital experiences over the pandemic. The org was founded in 2017 by Lowell (Dardanos) and is operated by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Our events are free and accessible, and we strive to create an environment for passion, collaboration, and bringing together the best online talent that Saskatchewan has to offer.

Everyone 19+ is welcome to attend our social events! Our events have no entry cost, and feature activities such as console gaming, board games, and card games, raffle giveaways and free swag, event exclusive beverages, and more.

DO I HAVE TO STREAM ON TWITCH OR BE A STREAMER TO ATTEND?
Being a Broadcaster, or even a Creator of any platform is not required! Everyone age 19+ is welcome to attend our MeetUp Experiences as long as that take the opportunity to RSVP. Our attendees are a great mix of Broadcasters, Creators, Gamers, Creatives, Fans, and more. Some events MAY be specifically oriented to a specific group of individuals in the future, such as Networking Nights for Creators, so its always best to read the event details before RSVPing.
CAN I BRING A +1?
Every attendee of our MeetUp Experiences MUST RSVP individually (streamers who share a content channel will also need to RSVP separately). You can RSVP at the door, however a Twitch account is required to RSVP.
ARE LAST MINUTE WALK-INS ALLOWED?
Yes, but you still need to RSVP at the door with a Twitch account.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THESE MEETUP EXPERIENCES?
As all events are 19+, you will want to bring a Valid Government Issued Photo ID with you as you may be asked to show your ID at the door. You'll want to bring cash or a debit / credit card for food or beverages. Don't forget your phones or cameras if you'd like to take pictures. If you're looking to network, its always a great idea to bring Business Cards with you, if you have them! Make sure you have your RSVP QR Code which will have been emailed to you once you RSVP.
IS THIS VENUE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
We strive for venues that are wheelchair-accessible. Please note that any limitations we face are based on venue availability. Feel free to contact us for clarification on our current venue.
HOW DO I WIN PRIZES OR GET SWAG?
All attendees will receive one Raffle Ticket at the door when they check-in, and may have an opportunity to earn additional tickets through our Bingo Cards or Pre-Show Live Stream. Prizes will be shared on our social channels ahead of the event, and winners will be shared afterwards. If you'd like to sponsor our MeetUp Experience, please contact us for sponsorship opportunities.
Swag is typically provided to us by Twitch Interactive and its availability is solely based on whether or not they are in a position to send us Swag ahead of our event. Swag is always limited and will be distributed to attendees on a first come, first server basis. Swag is never guaranteed and we are limited in our selection.
